TVS Devices and Protection Filters

Simple TVS devices for both axial (dual sided) and leaded packages are available. 

Because QuickSil builds both passive and active networks, we can mix and match both of these technologies to manufacture ESD tolerant passive networks. These generally take the form of low pass filters integrating pull-up and/or pull-down resistors.

Input/Output protection devices available include:

PN Junction diodes

Schottky Diodes

Other active devices

In general QuickSil designs such devices utilizing its proprietary stacked two level capacitor using silicon nitride as the dielectric between both capacitors. In addition QS uses distributed capacitors where applicable which aids in heat dissipation and maximizes capacitance per unit area. QuickSil can supply these devices in wafer form tested or untested or finished product as required.

On account of the increasing interest in chip sized packages QuickSil can supply these devices in a form suitable for both chip scale packaging (CSP) and flip chip assemblies. In addition passive networks (including inductors) can be manufactured on quartz substrates.
