Leadership Team
- Peter Himes
President
Peter has more than 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently as VP of Worldwide Sales at SiTime in Sunnyvale, California. Prior to that, Peter spent five years with Winbond, a major Taiwan manufacturer of consumer, computing and advanced memory products, in both sales and marketing leadership roles. Peter’s other accomplishments include wireless applications with iDini, power management with Impala Linear, and over 15 years with National Semiconductor Corporation in engineering, marketing, and strategic market segment leadership roles. Peter holds a BS in Electrical Engineering in Solid State Devices from the University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
- Chris Farasopoulos
VP Sales and Customer ServiceChris has more than 20 years of Semiconductor Manufacturing Operations experience. Prior to joining QuickSil, Chris spent 13 years at Integrated Device Technology Inc. in various Operations management positions both at IDT’s Technology Center and IDT’s Static Ram Division in Salinas Ca. Before joining IDT, Chris held management positions at VLSI Technology Inc. and National Semiconductor. Chris is responsible for Customer Operations and Business Development. Chris holds a BS in Human Performance from Brigham Young University.
- Brigitte Jenkins
Director of Operations
Brigitte Jenkins brings more than 25 years of manufacturing and operations management experience to her position as Director of operations. Her duties encompass complete manufacturing responsibility for all Quicksil manufacturing sites. External foundry operations and business planning also report to Jenkins. Before joining Quicksil, Jenkins served in a number of operational management roles for Semtech, AMD and National Semiconductor.
- Ting Yen
VP Engineering
Ting brings over 25 years in process integration, technology development, and foundry operations experience to QuickSil. Ting is responsible for all of QuickSil’s engineering needs and customer R&D support. Prior to QuickSil, Ting was the VP of Foundry Operations at Integrated Memory Technology, a start-up productizing a 90nm flash memory technology developed by IMT and licensed to Cypress and TSMC. Ting’s career also includes leadership roles at Netlogic, IDT, Cypress, Paradigm Technology, Philips and HP. Ting has an MS from UCSB and a BS from Christian Brothers University, both in Chemical Engineering.
