QuickSil was founded in 1993 to meet the market need to produce quick turnaround, reasonably priced, specialty devices in technologies outside the semiconductor mainstream. QuickSil takes advantage of the market window that naturally opens when established semiconductor companies become technologically inflexible as the sophistication of their core technologies increases.  The company's broad expertise manufacturing semiconductor and MEMS devices and a wide array of equipment enable flexible manufacturing solutions when supplying our customers with high-value specialty devices.

QuickSil is located in Fremont, near the heart of Silicon Valley, in a 28,000 square foot building containing over 9,000 square feet of clean room. With the present equipment set, this facility has a capacity of over 4,000 125 mm (5 inch) wafers per month.
